WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2015 by Lisa M. Surritte, a Native American Entrepreneur, Cherokee Composites LLC is organized to provide the various support services for plastics manufacturing, distribution, implementation, and project management. As SBA certified HUBZone, SDB, ISBEE and state certified WOSB and DBE, our services assist projects in transportation, safety, energy, health, defense and environmental industries. Since its inception in 2015, the firm has mastered the regulations, processes, procedures, and best practices for government and commercial projects in product distribution, transport logistics, lighting installation, plastic mold manufacturing and client satisfaction for critical national programs. With our established internal systems, practices, technologies, and reporting we orchestrate the human resource, financial administration, facility maintenance, worker safety standards, environmental preservation, and quality assurance infrastructure programs to deliver efficient, on time, at cost solutions and products.

The composite-based products and lighting mechanisms we distribute and install with our manufacturing partners assist in the protection and support of infrastructure systems in highway safety, navigational waterway passages, airport directional accuracy, hospital operations, and defense training systems, to name a few. One of our key partners, Hydra Service LLC, provides the hydraulic pumps, motors, and turbine starters that power some of the world’s largest equipment. This partnership is a critical piece of our infrastructure enterprise. We also work diligently with our partners and vendors for seamless “one-stop shopping” for our clients. Our predictable and dependable contract performance keeps our relationships, references, and referrals, always positive with our commercial and government clients, while keeping our small business reputation in great shape.

We are an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE), eligible for the U.S. Department of Defense Indian Incentive Program (IIP). Additionally, we have the Oklahoma Department of Commerce Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification and Oklahoma Department of Transportation (OKDOT) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) application. We are residents and employees within Indian Country dedicated to job creation and economic prosperity.
